My experience in Drupal 9 Back-End

My personal experience has been good. I think it is a very complete course.

In my case, it has helped me to consolidate my knowledge since I have started working with Drupal relatively recently and there were many things that "sounded" to me or that I did without fully understanding them. Obviously I have also acquired a lot of new knowledge.

I think the book is great, and it is important that it is practical. I also think it's important that there are several ways to solve the same problem. If you are thinking about doing a course that helps you to understand/learn basic knowledge about backend development in Drupal9, it is a very good option in my opinion.

For constructive criticism, I will say that it is a course that takes a lot of time and considering that the enrollment periods are closed, it is important to take this into account. The weights of the activities throughout the course go from less to more, since they depend on the complexity of the course and if you have little time in your day to day to dedicate to the course, it is important to take it into account.

In my particular case, I have not done the course in a linear way because I did not have time to finish it within the registration deadlines following the linear path. I understand that this depends on the learning time of each student, but being such a complete course, I think there are concepts that require time to internalize and of course activities in which you can get stuck and / or need help.

From my point of view, sometimes some activities are very dependent on the previous ones and this is problematic if you don't follow the linear flow, however, since the first half of the book has much less weight of punctuation than the second half, if you are on a tight schedule like me, maybe it gets a little complicated because you have to go back and forth again constantly.

Some basic activities I found a bit repetitive and some others required creating too much content for me, given the time it takes.

As I say, overall, a good experience and I would do it again.

Best regards!

The course is comprehensive and in-depth, covering everything you need to know to correctly build all types of entities and configurations, install and configure modules to expand available functionalities, customize themes, create twig templates, use and configure them to determine which template to use in which situation, and perform both basic and advanced administration on portals.

The format helps you understand Drupal without fear of the learning curve when it comes to portal... [read more]

The course is very comprehensive and well structured. The units are well defined, the methodology is sound, and it provides a comprehensive and practical overview of what you can do administratively with Drupal. Each module follows a logical order that facilitates progressive learning, allowing you to consolidate your knowledge before moving on to the next topic.

Fran, the tutor, stands out for his speed and clarity in resolving doubts and validating tasks that the bot is unable to... [read more]

During the Expert in Drupal 10 Front-End Development course, I had the opportunity to delve deeper into theme development and presentation layer customization in Drupal. Although I already had some experience in web development, this program allowed me to understand in detail the structure of the CMS, its template system, the use of Twig, and best practices for creating efficient and maintainable themes.

Forcontu's methodology, combining theory, practice, and guided activities, has... [read more]

I found the course very interesting, especially the part on decoupled development with Drupal and Vue.js. I like seeing how both can be connected using JSON:API to display the site's content. It's a modern and practical way of working, which helps to better understand how the backend and frontend are separated. In addition, the exercises are very helpful in seeing how everything works together and applying what you've learned in a real-world setting. I also found it useful to learn about the... [read more]

I found the course to be very comprehensive and well structured. From the outset, it is clear that the content has been carefully organized to guide you step by step through the use of Drupal applied to front-end development. The explanations are clear and straightforward, and the examples help you understand the concepts in a practical way that is close to what you encounter in real projects. The activities are very well designed, as they allow you to consolidate what you have learned while... [read more]

For me, this course has been a very comprehensive and practical experience. I liked that it is easy to follow and designed to make learning enjoyable, without unnecessary complications.

However, there are times when it can be a little frustrating, especially when the bot does not validate your answers and you do not understand why. That slows down the pace of learning and sometimes makes you doubt whether you are doing it right. The good thing is that the teacher usually responds quite... [read more]

This is one of the best and most comprehensive Drupal courses in Spanish. I previously took the “Forcontu Expert in Drupal 10 Site Building” course and really enjoyed it, so the decision to take the “Forcontu Expert in Drupal 10 Back-End Development” course was not a risky one.

The course delivers what it promises from the very first pages. It is a detailed and very comprehensive course, focused on back-end development in Drupal 10 with many examples of readable and well-documented... [read more]

Participating in a Drupal course has been both a challenging and enriching experience. Although I was already somewhat familiar with the CMS, especially in customization tasks such as the forcontu_bootstrap theme, the course allowed me to delve deeper into aspects that I had previously only touched on superficially. From modular architecture to the entity and view system, each module of the course has been an opportunity to better understand how Drupal works “inside.”

I found the... [read more]

In summary, it has been a course where it has been possible to see in an orderly and logical way each of the parts necessary to learn everything related to application development in Drupal from the point of view of Back-end in Drupal 10. The theoretical part that comes in the book or PDF of the course is excellently explained and includes many exercises to test everything learned in each of the course units.

The tutor, Fran Gil, responds quickly. It is a highly recommended and... [read more]

This course was both very interesting and very challenging for me. The course has a "vertical approach", it shows every argument in deep and then goes to another argument.

It forced me to have an attitude of patience and perseverance.

The final part was very difficult for me and I was closed to giving up. Furthermore for personal reasons I could only dedicate the week-end to the course.

However Fran was very patient with me and I finally succeeded.

I started with no... [read more]
