My Drupal Experience
Joe Stramel | Drupal 7 | Expert in Drupal 7
20 June, 2015 Thank you for reading my blog post about my experience with Drupal. I have been working with Drupal for a little over two years, and have previously built a Drupal site for my employer. I identified an area of our business that was operating with significant inefficiencies. I realized that by using a content management system hundreds of hours of manual labor could be eliminated and accuracy could be increased. I began reviewing different CMS platforms before selecting Drupal. I was attracted to its flexibilty, ability to be customized and large community support. A number of high profile sites using Drupal was a great endorsement as well. I began by installing Drupal core, and learning by trial and error. I reviewed Drupal content and training articles everywhere I could find. After a few months of working like this I had my site operational. I used a number of contributed modules including: Views, Panels, Organic Groups, Rules, Features, VBO, and Feeds. These robust modules took a great deal of time to master, but in the end I am very pleased with the initial version of the site, and it worked very well in production. I have decided that I would like to build a career out of developing Drupal sites, so I enrolled in the Forcontu course "Expert in Drupal 7." I was well versed in much of the early and intermediate material, but having no previous formal training I wanted to be sure that all of the holes in my knowledge were filled. Indeed, there was something new to be learned in each section. I feel that this course offers quality instruction that has gone a long way to make me a confident developer. There is always a need to continue learning and growing, which I will do through manuals, and hopefully soon, community events. I am eager to meet other Drupalists and exchange ideas and experiences. If you are passionate about Drupal like I am, then I invite you to connect with me via my social media links below. Thank you very much for reading! Site Building Course
MarioRivasHernandez | Drupal 10 | Expert in Drupal 10 Site Building
22 December, 2025 Very good course. I have learnt a lot of features and modules that I was completely unaware of. I was surprised by the depth with which some topics are addressed, and I am very happy to have taken it. I also greatly appreciate the clarity of the explanations and practical examples, which have helped me to better understand the concepts. Another very positive point is how quickly the tutor responds and corrects the activities, always with useful comments to help me continue improving. In... [read more] |
Good course for getting started with Front-End in Drupal
JDjunquera | Drupal 10 | Expert in Drupal 10 Front-End
20 December, 2025 The course takes a comprehensive and structured approach to the main topics related to the frontend in Drupal, starting with the most basic concepts and gradually moving on to more complex aspects, such as building, customizing, and modifying layouts. Thanks to this gradual approach, it is a recommended course for profiles of all levels, both for those new to Drupal and for experienced developers who want to consolidate their knowledge. In my case, I found it particularly useful for... [read more] |
Front Course
lrubioHiberus | Drupal 10 | Expert in Drupal 10 Front-End
19 December, 2025 The course is easy to follow and covers the essentials for getting started in frontend development. From the initial configuration of the environment, through the creation of components and their correct structuring, to the integration and adjustment of libraries according to the needs of the project. As for the book, it is quite comprehensive and well organized, although at times the explanations can be a bit dense, either because of the way they are written or because of a certain... A very good course to introduce you to site building.
iairala | Drupal 10 | Expert in Drupal 10 Site Building
19 December, 2025 I found the course, along with the manual, to be very comprehensive, as it covers everything from installing Drupal to creating and configuring content and other sections of the site, as well as the use of some very interesting modules. It was quite easy to follow and, in general, I found the activities to be very useful. Even so, I think some points that are a little outdated in the examples should be updated, as this has sometimes been a little confusing. Although at times I had to... [read more] |
My experience with the Drupal 10 Frontend course
manuelst4 | Drupal 10 | Expert in Drupal 10 Front-End
17 December, 2025 This is the second course I've taken with Forcontu. First, I did Site Building, and now Frontend. I have been working with Drupal since I finished my studies, and these courses have been key to reinforcing and structuring everything I have learned on my own over the years. It has also allowed me to discover new tools, features, and approaches that I did not know about, and which have now become a valuable addition to apply in future projects. The course methodology, together with the... [read more] |

15 December, 2025 Very good course. It has helped me create new features and gain a deeper understanding of how Drupal works at the content level. The course is very well explained and structured, making it easy to follow and enjoyable even when dealing with more advanced concepts. It also covers all the important aspects needed to begin to understand how Drupal works, from content creation and management to more practical day-to-day aspects. Although some parts are a little out of date, especially in... [read more] |
A course with interesting content
posit | Drupal 10 | Expert in Drupal 10 Back-End
14 December, 2025 This course has helped me develop new skills in my work and has taught me a great deal. The tutor was perfect, correcting and answering questions on weekends and holidays. The only thing that surprised me was that there were no video conference tutorials, as I think there was a bit of a lack of human contact, but it wasn't really necessary as the course, being done this way, gave me complete freedom to go at my own pace. The material in the book was perfect, and they taught... [read more] |
Front-end course
OskarCalvoVidal | Drupal 10 | Expert in Drupal 10 Site Building
10 December, 2025 Very good course, great for anyone who wants to start from scratch with the front end, as well as those who want to refine the knowledge they acquired in previous versions of Drupal. The course starts with the basics of Drupal front-end development, CSS, HTML, Twig templates, then Drupal subthemes, Sass, SCSS, Grump, Gulp, etc., and ends with decoupling using both the REST module and the JSON API module. For the front-end part, there is a very interesting introduction to Vuejs. ... [read more] |

09 December, 2025 The course is easy to follow and covers all the fundamental aspects needed to begin understanding how Drupal works. From initial installation, through the creation of content types and their correct configuration, to the incorporation and adjustment of the necessary modules according to each need. Good Drupal 10 Front-end course
ajfernandez85 | Drupal 10 | Expert in Drupal 10 Front-End
07 December, 2025 I think this is a very good course on Front-end Development in Drupal 10. It is very well explained and structured, easy to understand, and includes very educational and illustrative examples. If I had to find a fault, I would say that it could be a little more up to date, as some topics use versions of libraries and frameworks that are now deprecated or no longer in use. Perhaps I would have liked it to go a little deeper into SDC components and also a little more into the decoupled... [read more] |
