Drupal 10 Back-End

After completing the Drupal 10 Back-End Expert course, I can only say that it has met my expectations. It is a training designed with logic, well structured and focused on the real work that you will find if you dedicate yourself to the development with Drupal.
 What I liked the most:

  • Progressive learning, without detours: from the basics to more advanced concepts such as queues, cron, custom entities or plugins. Each unit builds on the previous one, and everything fits together.
  • 100% oriented to professional practice: Here you don't just come to read theory. From the first module you are solving activities that simulate real situations. That makes the difference.
  • Adaptable pace: I have been able to combine my studies with my work without any problem. If you organize yourself, you can advance at a good pace and make the most of it.

I recommend it especially to developers who already have some experience and want to make the real leap to the back-end of Drupal. You will finish the course understanding how Drupal works from the inside, knowing how to create robust solutions and maintaining good practices.

Comprehensive and practical

A very comprehensive, highly practical and enriching course. Everything is explained extremely well and structured step by step, which makes learning complex technologies such as backend development in Drupal 10 much easier. Throughout the course, I’ve been able to work in depth on creating custom entities, designing advanced plugin systems and managing bespoke services, moving from theory to solving real-world development problems. It has greatly expanded my technical knowledge and gives... [read more]

I’ve completed the Drupal 10 Expert: Front-End Development course, and I can say that it’s a very comprehensive course—it’s easy to follow and well-structured, with the information provided being very helpful.

I’ve also completed the Drupal 10 Expert: Back-End Development and Drupal 10 Expert: Site Building courses, and overall, I’ve loved all three courses and have learned a great deal by completing the assignments provided for each topic.

As for the content in the various... [read more]

I’ve had another great experience with this “Drupal 10 Front-End Expert” course. This is already the third course I’ve taken at Forcontu, following the Sitebuilding course and then the Back-End course.

Like the other courses, this one is quite comprehensive and practical—probably one of the most comprehensive courses available in Spanish. I’ve been working with Drupal for a few years now, and there’s always something new to learn. I found the section on decoupled Drupal particularly... [read more]

Overall, I’ve had a very good experience with the course. Everything is explained quite clearly so you won’t run into any problems, and you can try out a wide variety of scenarios in each section. It’s ideal for getting started with Drupal front-end development, since it covers the essentials needed to apply front-end development professionally and according to industry standards.
The book is very comprehensive, and it leaves no detail out, with code and screenshots provided as examples... [read more]

I absolutely loved the ‘Expert in Drupal 11 Site Building’ course

The books are very comprehensive and easy to follow. The content is very well organised and clearly explained, which makes it easy to progress step by step.
As for the methodology, I found it particularly practical, as it combines reading the theoretical content with putting it into practice through activities. This helps to consolidate the knowledge acquired and ensures that the concepts have genuinely been understood.
It is also worth highlighting the tutor’s availability and... [read more]

My experience with the Expert in Drupal 10 Site Building course

Although I was already working with Drupal before taking the course, it helped me solidify my understanding of key concepts, discover features I hadn’t used before, and delve deeper into aspects that don’t typically come up in my day-to-day work. The sheer number of exercises makes the course demanding and, at times, quite intense, but that’s also what allows you to finish it with the feeling that you’ve truly practiced every topic covered, rather than just reading theory.

Overall, I... [read more]

My Experience

I’d been working with Drupal for several years when I decided to enrol on Forcontu’s Back-End Development course, and it’s exceeded my expectations.

Although I already had some experience, this course has shown me that there’s always so much more to learn. The level of depth is truly remarkable: from module architecture and the Drupal API to more advanced topics such as queues, cron, caching and entity management. Everything is explained in a clear and organised manner, with practical... [read more]

There is always something new to learn in Drupal.

I've been working with Drupal for several years now. I started out a little with version 7, but I've mostly worked with versions 8, 9, and 10. Even so, I decided to take the Back-End Expert course because there are always things that slip your mind with an API as large as Drupal's.

And the truth is that Fran has a knack for teaching important details that often go unnoticed when you're working day to day. Things that are there but that you don't stop to understand thoroughly until... [read more]

Experience in the Expert in Drupal 10 Site Building course

I'm glad I decided to take this course. Although my work experience gave me a solid foundation in several of the modules taught, others, such as the entity browser or working with Google maps in the geolocation module, were things I had never touched before.

Among others, such as the module for creating forums, I don't know if I'll ever have the opportunity to see a forum built with Drupal, haha, or the book module or Superfish.

But what I'll take away most is that I've learned a... [read more]

Now that I have completed the Front End course, I can say that the book used as a guide to complete the course is very useful for understanding the activities and being able to carry them out successfully. I think the methodology is effective because both the tutor and classmates can use the forum to share their experience and help others.

I found some activities difficult to understand, but with the help of Fran and my classmates, I was able to get through them.

I had a basic... [read more]
