Bilingual English/Spanish Volunteers for Drupal online training project
After over three years teaching Drupal online for the Spanish community, we are now preparing an English version of our Drupal training program. Although we initially started the translation of our books through a translation agency, the first results have not been as good as expected. That's why we want to try another system, benefiting members of the Drupal Community who wish to participate in this project.
We have prepared a first draft of the documents, translating into English the strings included in Drupal and all the screenshots and examples. It facilitates the translation, which can be made by any member of the Drupal community, Native English speaker, with a good level of Spanish.
In exchange you'll receive free online training (valued at USD$ 1500) to become an Expert in Drupal 7 and the possibility of joining our trainers team in the future. You can see the table of contents in the right column.
We are building a team of 5 people interested in collaborating in this project. We are looking for people with this profile:
- Basic/Intermediate skills in Drupal (6 or 7).
- Basic/Intermediate skills in HTML, CSS and PHP.
- Native English speaker with a good level of Spanish.
- High English writing skills.
- Interested in improving their Drupal skills and building their career in Drupal.
